Two model respirators of LIONCARE--R720 and R820V are certified with CE certifications after being strictly tested according to EU regulation EN 149:2001+A1:2009.
What is EN 149:2001+A1:2009?
EN 149 is a European standard of testing and marking requirements for filtering half masks. Such masks cover the nose, mouth, and chin and may have inhalation and/or exhalation valves.
EN 149 defines three classes of such particle half masks, called FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3, (where FFP stands for filtering face-piece) according to their filtering efficiency.
FFP2, N95 & KN95 Masks
EN 149 FFP2 masks have similar performance requirements to N95 masks in the United States and KN95 filters in China. EN 149 FFP3 masks have similar performance requirements to N99 masks in the United States. However, EN 149 test requirements differ somewhat from the U.S./Chinese/Japanese standards: EN 149 requires an additional paraffin oil (paraffinum perliquidum) aerosol test and it tests at a range of different flow rates and defines several associated and permissible pressure drop levels.

R820V Cup-Shaped FFP2 Respirator Mask with Valves is designed to filter harmful substances and prevent dust and bacteria. 3-layer highly effective non-woven soft filtering material offers you high levels of filtration protection, cap-shape with an attached nose clip ensures the mask contours comfortably fit your face. The attached valve ensures easy breathing during the whole workday. The soft nose pad ensures better wearing comfort.
