Congratulations! Lioncare’s three models of FFP3 respirators have a full CE certificate from a Notified Body and have passed all the necessary tests. They are also certified to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 and are approved as personal protective equipment (PPE) according to EU regulations.

CE marked masks are disposable respirators approved by the European Economic Area for safety, health, and environmental protection standards. Much like NIOSH grades respirators as either N95, N99, or N100 according to their efficiency rating, CE grades their masks as either FFP1, FFP2, or FFP3.

European Standard EN 149 defines the following classes of “filtering face pieces”: FFP1 filters at least 80% of particles; FFP2 filters at least 94% of particles; FFP3 filters at least 99% of particles.
